OUR MISSION
The Coastal Community Development Corporation (CCDC) seeks to increase the availability of homes for our local and regional workforce by preserving existing housing, redeveloping existing property and developing new property to meet the demand of our region while serving working residents.

The Coastal Community Development Corporation focuses on the housing needs of the local and regional workforce and their families. Our goal is to make it possible for people across the workforce spectrum to find affordable housing where they work. We desire to improve the lives of our tenants by providing quality, affordable housing options .
Properties we own are strategically located throughout Beafuort and Jasper Counties in South Carolina creating a network that responds to housing needs for the residents of Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie, Beaufort, Hardeeville and the Lowcountry,.
OUR PROCESS
If you are interested renting with CCDC the first step is to fill out an application. Submit your application and all of the requested documents. Our team will evaluate your application and work with our providers to complete credit and background checks and verify rental history. Once your application has been evaluated, our team will contact you to complete the application process. Available units will be matched with qualified tenants based on household size and income.
Monthly rents are set to serve households with incomes between 50%-150% of area median income.
OUR BOARD
Our Board is comprised of community leaders with expertise in a wide range of areas, including training, advocacy, non-profit administration, education, finance, law, fund development, hospitality and business management.
The Board meets monthly and is responsible for setting the strategic directives of the CCDC and ensuring the financial health of the organization on an ongoing basis.
